The arms of this chandelier are shaped the way so typical for the northern European counties. The winding of the arms shall resemble the route of the sun over the sky as daylight hours were short in the north and celebrated in this was.
The crystal consists of small beads and highly faceted slender icicles. This gives it a very lofty expression and still a brilliant sparkle.
The taken back metal parts are given a fine gold surface to warm the fire of the crystals.
This model was copied from an original in the Hermitage in St. Petersburg.
