Alhambra (Schmoranz und Knaab, 1888) is one of the most beautiful Lobmeyr series from the 19th century.
Its inspiration are abstract animal drawings of the famous “Jarra” vase at Alhambra palace in Granada. The enamel painted friezes with animals in particular seem to be of timeless beauty and now have been realized in a series of 6 tumblers again. The shape of the tumbler is modeled after Arabian originals.
