Designer Yuta Ishihara combines his interest and curiosity in traditional and advanced techniques to bring forth a new set of values in jewelry, harnessing the characteristics of Akoya pearls and colored gemstones. His innovative approach is evident in his unique ring collection that repurposes vintage rings and in the necklace clasps and earring backs that he has independently developed as part of his jewelry line.

While contemplating the essence of jewelry itself, he has also been exploring ways to introduce designers and brands in Japan that possess different elements from his own.
